By mid April of 2008, though spring was bursting forward at home, we took a few days for a final winter getaway in Nassau, Bahamas.  This is the place where Ana and I met ten years ago and we never imagined it would be this long before we visited again!  Though there has been a lot of new development, especially on Paradise Island, the place looked remarkably similar to when we left, even my favourite hang out - Hammerheads - was still around.  The highlight of the trip for me was on the deck of Hammerheads when both the kids were snoozing in the stroller and Ana and I enjoyed a quiet drink together and talked of times gone by.  The adventures we had that either started or ended (sometimes both) in Hammerheads are too numerous to remember.  I really should put together a "Hammerheads" page to celebrate the legendary status of this establishment.  I'll get right to that.....

The other highlight was meeting up with two old Bahamian friends whom we haven't seen since we left.  All in all, yet another fantastic trip under our belts.
