Thanks to all and especially Mark Olson, this years fishing trip was a raging success!!  And the motto for this year was, "We don't eat until we're full, we eat 'till we're TIRED!"

The competition was sealed up early in the weekend by John Borges with a beautiful 18 inch bass caught in Danby Lake.  This was just the beginning of the action as everybody had great luck and caught plenty of fish.

This year, the weekend beer supply was extinguished after the first day so a mid trip beer run was made on Saturday.  I can probably claim the "Hangover of the Weekend" award as I had a real stinger on Saturday that just wouldn't go away.

The group was split into two teams; the Leaping Frogs (Mark Olson, Peter Olson, John Borges) and the Guy Smileys (John McGraw, Marty Olson, Kris Olson).  Team winners were John Borges for his giant bass and John McGraw for his remarkable  bass slaying performance on Saturday, not to mention his uncanny frog catching abilities.  George acted as the Overseer, the Sphinx, and the Grand Poobah for the event as he ruled that his participation in the competition would not give the rest of us a hope in hell of winning.

The winner of the prestigious Gas Master 2002 award goes to.......well, let's just say that whatever happens on the fishing trip, stays on the fishing trip.
